swgalaxy 0 Posted October 18, 2006 is greg jennings and tatum bell (mine) for chad johnson and cadillac (his) a deal to make?? jennigs/bell schedules are easier than johnson/cadillac i have westbrook and portis as my rbs and boldin, lee evans, jennings, and berriman as my rec. we start 2rbs and 2wrs. On a side note I'm thinking of countering with lee evans and bell for johnson and caddy...am i asking for too much??? Help and leave a link.
djrockstar 0 Posted October 18, 2006 I think you're buying low on a couple characters - CJ and Caddy - but I think you're paying too much. If we knew that Tatum was going to be the clear cut starter would we have all targeted him in the 2nd round? 3rd? My feelings are that by week 6 we have to start thinking about trends rather than anomolies. CJ is underperforming and though I think he's a terrific candidate to turn it around, I also think you have to acknowledge that the Bengals offense is sputtering a bit and Housh looks more like the #1 WR. Tampa Bay does not look good either. I think you should stick with Tatum. He's got a really nice schedule and you may need a reliable RB to cover Westy. Evans and Jennings and Berriman, though potentially #3 WR's, should serve you well. My $.02 link to mine ...
SaintsInDome2006 441 Posted October 18, 2006 I think it's too much. I would like to trade for CJ but I think that people that hold him are overvaluing him right now. Alright, he could explode, but when you look at his stats he's really less valuable than Doug Gabriel and Bryant Johnson (seriously, in my standard scoring league he has more points than CJ and really their stats are not so different the last few weeks). FYI ... I've been inquiring about CJ for two weeks. Finally, the CJ owner asks for BOLDIN and WALKER. Hilarious. I wouldn't trade either guy straight up for CJ now. Ok, maybe Walker straight up. MAYBE. For some reason guys are being overly optimistic about him it seems.
