miamidolphins89 0 Posted October 30, 2006 Ok.. So somehow I am 7-1 and in first place in my league. Meanwhile, I have one of the lowest amount of pts. I had Culpepper, so I have had no QB all year. I traded for Carr and now hes doing nothing. My league (12 teams) is no PPR, 6 pts for a TD, 1 point for every 15 yds rushing/receiving, 1 pt for every 30 yds passing. We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR... With Shaun still out I am worried about my RB situation if I do the trade. My team: QB - David Carr, Matt Leinart RB - Shaun Alexander, Ahman Green, Cadillac Williams, Wali Lundy, Lendale White, Chris Perry WR - Terrell Owens, Roy Williams, Muhsin Muhammad, Braylon Edwards I get: Carson Palmer, Deshaun Foster, Leon Washington I give: David Carr, Ahman Green, Cadillac Williams
ramblin'wreck 0 Posted October 31, 2006 I would do the trade in a heartbeat. Green, though has been productive whenever he played, began to develop a hamstring problem prior to his bye week.. you knows if or when it'll return. Caddy is not the same player he once was last year.. may be it's his back, may be it's the O line. No need to say about Carr here. Thanks for voting on my potential stars ballot.. king41 0 Posted October 31, 2006 That guy must not know what he is doing in your league.... That is the worst looking trade I've seen; totally unbalanced. I would not allow that trade to go through my leauge...but if you can do it , get it done.
Steve-O-328 0 Posted October 31, 2006 I agree, this looks like a one-sided trade in your favor and would probably get vetoed.

Plus, if I do the trade, I will be forced to start Wali Lundy at NYG and Lendale White this week plus Muhsin Muhammad at flex, basically giving up this week and probably first place in my league for the time being (1st and 2nd place get bye weeks in the playoffs). cervantor 0 Posted October 31, 2006 Thanks for the input. As far as the trade, Carson is definitely an upgrade for you at QB. At RB, you'd be giving up two solid performers for two guys who could be studs or duds. With Wali though, you should be able to play the tailbacks according to matchup until Shaun is ready to go. So, I'd probably go ahead an do the trade...
Cjt727 0 Posted October 31, 2006 Carson Palmer will be a nice QB addition for you considering you don't really have any good qbs. I say go for it http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=249615
