I was just made an offer, My LJ for his Westbrook and Plaxico

LJ in my league has totaled roughly 180 fantasy points this year

 

Westbrook has totalled roughly 140 points

 

Plax roughly 80 points

 

 

Right now I have Donald Driver, Larry Fitz, Reggie Brown, Terry Glenn and Lee Evans for WR, adding Plax could complete the trio as we only start 3

 

We start 2 RBs, currently I have LJ, Gore, C Taylor, Ronnie Brown

 

My TE is Witten

 

I THINK i can get away with starting Gore and Westbrook the rest of the year if I accept this trade....we don't get points for receptions just 1 pt per 10 rushing and 1 pt per 10 recieving...

 

What do you think? I know LJ is GOLD, but I'm currently 3-5 primarly due to my WR situation....I just picked up Fitzgerald for Mcgahee on Sunday so I havnt had him all year....

I would not make this trade for the simple fact that you are not rewarded points for rec...PHI defense is vulnerable and will have to come from behind alot, and I believe Westbrook will start to put up points like he did this past week...LJ is a stud and I don't see him slowing down...

 

If you start Evans in the 3rd wide position, you should be all set...After all except for 2 games against the PAT's he has really done well....

Are you willing to downgrade slightly from LJ to Westbrook in order to upgrade from lets say a Terry Glenn to Plax?

 

I think it could be a decent trade for you if you CAN get away with Westbrook and Gore. At 3-5, it's now or never!

As stated above I wouldn't do this trade because u dont recieve points for receptions. Your wrs arent bad enough to upgrade. You don't want to lose a stud like LJ, he'll make up for the lacking wr.

I would not make that trade. Titles are won by good RB's going off in the playoffs and LJ is starting to do that again like he did the last two years. I agree that you could upgrade your 3rd WR, but with your depth at RB I think that you have other options. I would keep LJ and try to move either Gore or R. Brown for a WR. C. Taylor has a cake schedule down the stretch so if you could hold on to him it would be nice also. You should be able to get a good WR for Gore or Brown. Don't trade LJ, you will probably end up regretting it when he is tearing people up for 150 and 3 td's in the playoffs. Remember that Plax plays in a bad weather stadium for the end of the year also. good luck.

I just offered him another deal..with doesnt involve me giving up LJ or getting Westy...i'll see what happens...
