I have McNabb on bye, league is standard scoring with 6pts td, 1 pt every 50 yards passing)

Romo vs Wash.

Brady home vs Indy.

I know brady went off last week with 4tds, but now he's facing a bad run defense in Indy and I'm afraid NE will run all day, esp. in red zone. Perhaps I get one td from brady. Maybe two. I think the game will be high scoring though so anything can happen.

Washington's pass defense isn't that good and Romo has a good matchup. However, brady is the better choice head to head, but something's telling me Romo will get 2-3 td's and a bunch of long td's, something Washington is known to give up a lot of.

Any ideas????

I too think Brady won't be as productive against the Colts this week. It'll come down to Moroney and Dillon .. everyone knows IND has a louser run defense.

Go with ROmo this week.

Thanks for mine

This strategy has some merit if New England is ahead in the game. But if they get behind, Brady has the potential to put up very big numbers.

Even if everything goes wrong, Brady will still put up about 240 yards and at least 1 or 2 TD's. This isnt bad.

Romo, on the other hand may or may not put up the numbers you need. Dallas is still basically a ball control offense (run first, pass second) and because Romo is a rookie, Parcells will be fairly conservative in his play calling unless dallas falls behind.

I think you need to go with the sure thing and take brady.

You know while I waited for the page to load I thought Brady no-brainer but when I read the posts the reservation is valid. I think it might boil down to a never bench your studs (which Brady qualifies as lately IMO) which is a hell of a lot more strategic than a coin-flip.

well, I think the bottom line is....

Brady always performs reasonably well.

he will never throw 400 yards and 4 touchdowns with any regularity, but he will not ever throw for less than 200 yards and a touchdown either.

to me he is a very solid QB who wins a lot of games.

that is the bottom line.

he wont hurt you in there. I can assure you of that.

I used to adhere to never bench your studs but I've got two this year -- Boldin and Tiki -- and have learned the hard way to really pay attention to match ups and probable strategy.
