sb2232 0 Posted November 4, 2006 Okay, this is basically asking you to help me pick the best of a bad situation. The Tatum Bell injury turned my team upside down and I'm not sure what to do. I'm trying to swing trades to help my RB situation but barring miracles that's not going to happen before game time Sunday. We start two RB's and flex position, which will have to be an RB because my only other WR is on bye (Boldin). My RBs (as seen below) are: T. Bell, L. Jordan, R. Bush, B. Jacobs, and J. Norwood. Which three to start? I'm thinking Jacobs is #1 for me, as he has a good chance for scores against the Texans. After that, it's a crapshoot. It sounds like Jordan may be healthy but that's burned me before; Bush appears injured and less than 100% (at which he's been less than stellar anyways - although I do get points for return yards in my league!); T. Bell is "probable" and "starting" but likely to split carries at BEST, and Norwood is a back-up being worked into the rotation. Anyone willing to, please help and I will answer yours! DandyRandy 0 Posted November 4, 2006 Wow that's ruff. I would say Jacobs T.Bell and Norwood. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=250631 thanks.
WildHaire3 0 Posted November 4, 2006 Tough one. I would say Jacobs will get you at least a score. Norwood as well. Moniter the L. Jordan situation, if he doesn't go Maybe T. Bell?
philssteelers200 0 Posted November 4, 2006 I would go Jacobs, Bell and Jordan... and switch Jordan with Norwood if it looks any worse for him before sunday's early games. thanks for mine
dalie 2 Posted November 4, 2006 Jacobs for sure, then yes it's a crapshoot. Then I think I would go Jordan then Norwood, Bell and Bush. Good luck!! Thanks for mine
rottytiny 7 Posted November 4, 2006 I'd go Jacobs, Bell and Jordan. If Jordan is a no go I'd go with Norwood.
GlennG31 0 Posted November 4, 2006 Thanks a lot for the help with mine! As for yours...wow...that is quite the predicament that you're in. That's tough. But I would go with Jacobs (he's good for at least one vultured TD this weekend), Bell (maybe he scores? maybe?), and Jordan (I think he has a chance for a score as well). Bush is still injured, and I just don't see Norwood getting many touches...especially with Atlanta's newfound passing game. I see most of Atlanta's TD's being of the passing variety. Good luck! People in my other 12 team leagues are already dropping jordan. t. bell is RBBC and playing against pitt who can't do much but WILL stop the run. for number 2 i'd watch the inj list and start either bush or jordan 'cause i think fargas is hurt , sorry, it don't look good. just_want_2_win 0 Posted November 4, 2006 Thanks for mine. I was in similar straights this year with both Foster and Jordan. I've luckily dumped Jordan and replaced with MJD and Lundy. I say avoid Jordan like the plague. Every week since the bye he's supposedly had an ok matchup and he's done nothing. No TDs, no reception, bad back, splitting carries with Fargas, team has terrible O and poor coaching. Jacobs will probably get you a TD and 30-50 yards. That's decent. Norwood's role has increased he's not as predictable as Jacobs but I think is worth using. Tatum has turf toe and faces a tough D and will supposedly (can we believe Shanny?) give most of his carries to Mike Bell.
bunnerjk 0 Posted November 4, 2006 I'd go Jacobs, Bell and Jordan. If Jordan is a no go I'd go with Norwood. Thanks for mine. I would also do this!!!!!
smedia 0 Posted November 4, 2006 For sure Jacobs and Bell Jordan and Norwood will be the tough pick if Jordan plays healthy, he will get most of the touches... problem is it is a Monday night game and chances are you might get burned if his back give him problems again... From what I have heard he will play... Norwood vs Detroit is interesting because if the Falcon get ahead they will run... Play Norwood please answer mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=250693
