PatMcGroin88 0 Posted November 6, 2006 I was thinking of offering Rudi for Horn or TO. I have Chester and Bush, need to upgrade my WR's. Rudi's schedule is bad Edit: was just offered evans, horn and henry for rudi and bruce...should I?
Illini4evr 0 Posted November 6, 2006 Horn is not a good play, he does have hammy issues and like yesterday has the potential to sit more games. Plus, don't expect him to blow up like he did the other week, he's just not that consistent. TO is better but I definitely do not recommend dropping Rudi for him. Bush is a good RB but not a full fledge starter in my mind. He definitely has his off days and splits carries with McCallister. Unless you are in a PPR league his value is not that great. I'd keep Rudi and have the combo of Rudi, Chester, and Bush. What's available on WW or FA? If you are going to trade I'd think about another setup not involving your better backs. Also, move Colston to WR and Watson to TE. Watson is a solid TE while Colston will make your receiving core better. Just because you can play Colston at TE doesn't mean you should. He would serve better purpose at WR (considering he is way better then Furrey, Bruce, or Kennison). Watson will still contribute a solid performance but now you have a more balanced team and probably don't need to go after another WR.
killersquids 3 Posted November 6, 2006 if you are not in a ppr league, do not trade rudi away. bush is terrible in non-ppr leagues. if you are, then I would trade rudi for TO no question. I doubt the other owner would make that trade however. T.O. looks like he is back in his top 5 wr form. No way I trade rudi for horn. Besides injuries, colston looks like the #1 in new orleans. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=251202
PatMcGroin88 0 Posted November 6, 2006 ok, he just offered me this evans, horn and henry for rudi and bruce what ya think? My 3 starting WR's would be HOLT, evans, horn and my starting RB's would be bush and taylor
Foberton 0 Posted November 6, 2006 Horn is no picnic, and not worth giving up the likes of a Rudi, especially when your 2nd RB is a RBBC guy. Do what Illini said and move COlston to WR. Wait on Matt Jones to see if he becomes an intricate, every week part of the offense, which has a good chance to happen and would solidify your team pretty decently. Thanks for mine!
