Fearsome 22 Posted November 9, 2006 I need to pick three from this group in a TD only league that gives bonus points for length of score if it is over 45 and 60 yards: Fitzgerald (Is 50% of the plays good enough) B Johnson (Will he see the ball with Fitz back?) Furrey (playing the 49ers at home. SF only is good at home) Daniels (One week Texans wonder?) Driver (My one hammer) M Jones (Ready to break out?) Leaning Driver, Furrey and Fitz...but very unsure. Thoughts? I will answer all posts. Thanks!
AHill84006 0 Posted November 9, 2006 IMO, I would say Driver, Jones, and Furrey. With it being Fitz's first week back from a hammy, he might be nothing much more than a decoy this week. Jones looks to be coming back at a rapid pace, and they are playing the Texans this week......... please see mine : http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=252123
TimESmalls 0 Posted November 9, 2006 Injury or not Fitzgerald is your best reciever. You start him every week he plays regardless of the match-up. Donald Driver is also your other must start in this group. That's two down, so you need one more. As far as your other guy's are concerned it looks tough for any of them to register a score. Looking at the match-ups right away you think that Matt Jones has it best. However, the Texans defense isn't that bad and Matt Jones has yet to score. Bryant Johsnton once again becomes the number three guy. Owen Daniel's has a tough match-up in Jacksonville and plays second fiddle to Andre. Lastly, Mike Furrey has been playing great and he, along with Matt Jones, has a halfway decent chance of scoring. Add in the solid play of Jon Kitna as of late and I would go with Furrey. So: Fitz --> He's your boy. Start him. Driver --> Another no brainer. Furrey --> Cross your fingers and don't second guess if someone else gets a TD. What's done is done. Good luck man. aauhoops33 0 Posted November 9, 2006 driver, furrey, jones, thanks for mine
THRILLHO 0 Posted November 9, 2006 Fitz (Dallas is prone to giving up big pass plays, so that will help you with the bonus points), Driver and Jones. A sleeper pick if he's available on your waiver wire: Devery Henderson (assuming Horn doesn't play.) Saints can't run the ball but are dominating in the air. Pittsburg's backfield has been pretty bad this season, and Devery is coming off a huge game against TB. Would consider starting him over Jones.
chuck_w87 0 Posted November 10, 2006 I would also go with Driver, Furrey, Fitz... You would kick yourself for not starting Fitz... Plus, I dont think that the Jags will throw much this week.
dalie 2 Posted November 10, 2006 Fitz, Driver (likes to do well against MN) and Jones (Hello....Houston?) http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=252219
