Swagger 0 Posted November 10, 2006 Third QB Delhomme v TB. Leaning towards Favre, but Smith is interesting against a horrible DET D/ST.
nemode 0 Posted November 10, 2006 Third QB Delhomme v TB. Leaning towards Favre, but Smith is interesting against a horrible DET D/ST. I think Farve is going to have a good game. Detroit's D looked decent last week. Carolina coming off a bye against a bad run defense. I would go with Farve. Do you think Losing Chester for Lamont will hurt me down the stretch? enjoi525 0 Posted November 10, 2006 I like Smith because DET defense is not good flat out. The SF offense has taken a lot of strides from last season to this season. If you are NOT penalized for INTs go with farve. If you are, go with Smith.
gunnergip 0 Posted November 10, 2006 smith just for the match up....detroit = worst pass d around
vjjjc 0 Posted November 10, 2006 This is a tough.... Farve historically does terrible in that dome... who knows why but he does.... But I don't trust Smith... I'd stay stick w/ your starter... thanks for mine
dalie 2 Posted November 10, 2006 I Like the Smith match up, in potentail shootout http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=252219
sly poppa 0 Posted November 10, 2006 Delhomme. The Panthers are going to come out with guns blazing. I know they crapped the bed the last few games, but you have to believe they are a better team than that. They've had the bye week to straighten things out and I'm expecting Jake to bounce back in a big way. Home game. MNF. Steve Smith. I'd say 270 and 2 td. elboobster 0 Posted November 10, 2006 I like Delhomme at home, too. DeAngelo will add zest to the running game and Panthers will be out for blood. thanks for mine.
mackgeescott 0 Posted November 10, 2006 Thanks for mine.. I'd go with Farve, Minn DEF is a monster against the run, but weak against the pass.. The only way I'd go with Delhomme is if you league subtracts for INT, because be expecting a few from Farve under pressure this week.
jdjacks10 0 Posted November 10, 2006 Smith should be the starter but he didnt do anything to Min. and we all saw how they got exposed through the air
HIW 0 Posted November 10, 2006 I'd go with Delhomme. Good luck.
redwolf 0 Posted November 10, 2006 what's tough about this season is that trends and stats don't seem to hold up. i would go with favre because it's a conference game and he's had trouble there. doesn't make sense but that's why i would do it.
-bp- 0 Posted November 10, 2006 I don't like the way Favre plays against the Viks...I'd expect a few int's. Smith seems like a good choice against the Det D. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=252286
P Park Pimps 1 Posted November 10, 2006 Thats tough. Delhomme looked like sh!t against Dallas, Favre looked just as bad vs. Buffalo, and Alex Smith has a good matchup against Detroit. I think you have to go with Smith. See mine again. You didn't pick my receivers: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=252264
chris27 0 Posted November 10, 2006 I don't like Smith, Det's defense isn't THAT bad compared to others. Between Fare and Delhomme I would go Delhome at home. After the bye, at home, yeah he's your best bet. Thanks for mine.
mrcharlie 0 Posted November 10, 2006 I agree with the above post. Delhomme at home after a bye. Also Williams will be back to help the offense out. Thanks for mine.
The Hunter 0 Posted November 10, 2006 delhomme over favore, favre over smith. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=252307
time to get ill 0 Posted November 10, 2006 Alex Smith all the way dude. Detroit has the 27th ranked pass defense, it's gonna be like shooting fish in a barrell for Smith. Plus he has one of his favorite targets back this week in Vernon Davis. Good Luck!! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=252027
brya31 0 Posted November 10, 2006 I would go with Favre they cant run on Minn so they will have to pass http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=252332
celloshane 0 Posted November 10, 2006 I'm adding a vote for Delhomme. You can't trust Farve in the dome, and Smith is a crapshoot any given weekend. Thanks for mine
