Would you do this trade?

I've had two trades offered to me by the team that has Fred Taylor. He is willing to deal me Carnell Williams or LaMont Jordan for Jones-Drew. Since Drew was a pickup for me in week 2 and both Williams and Jordan were 2nd round picks, it seems like I'm making a shrewd move by buying Low. My league is more weighted towards TD's than yards and Oakland has a good schedule against the run coming up. Let me know if you guys would trade Jones-Drew for one of those guys, and if so, which one? Carnell Williams or LaMont Jordan. Thanks.

I'd get Jordan his schedule is pretty nice come playoff time and they should have Brooks back by then whos not great but better than Walter.

I too would choose L Jordan, I dont see Jones-Drew making an impact unless F Taylor goes down, and let him worry about that.

But they say that Justin Fargas is going to get more carries for the Oakland offense. Do you think Jordan/Fargas will turn into a committee situation?

If you start MJD regularly, then don't do it.. On average MJD will score you more points than Caddy or Jordan would.. but if MJD is only on your bench right now, I suggest trading him for Jordan.. You are right the Raiders' schedule will be favorable for Jordan later in the season.

One more thing, my league includes playoffs so the Jags have playoff potential. Oakland and Tampa Bay are out of the playoffs. Here are my current RB's:

 

Corey Dillon

Laurence Maroney

Willis McGahee

Reuben Droughns

Reggie Bush

Maurice Jones-Drew

 

I probably should be looking to trade one of my RB's for a receiver as I've got Randy Moss, Rod Smith, Eric Moulds, and Marcus Robinson right now. Maybe I can get more for Jordan or Caddy later if they get more carries though.

Id probally go with Jordan aswell, because of the tough schedule that Caddy faces down the stretch. Neither one is great option , but its pretty hard to start Drew any week really. Please respond to mine below ( 2 tough decisions)

I say keep Drew. Between the three (drew, williams, jordan) that Drew is the only one having any type of consistent production.

Drew is pretty consistant 8+ points. Not something you can say about the other 2. I'd keep him.
