gearing up for a close playoff run.

so I started the season 2-6 due to some brutal matchups, etc. I won the last 2 and I am at a paltry 4-6. However, most of the league has been sorta sucking as well and I' only 2 games away from the leader in my division (6-4). He is playing the only real dominant team in the league (who is 9-1) this week and I suspect he will lose. next week we start divisional games again and I play him.

 

If I can upgrade a bit I should take him (I won the first game of the year against him) and we would be tied for the lead in the division, (which I would win due to our matchups). So, anyways, my team is decent, but not great. (team is my sig line)

 

QB situation hurts as Hasselbeck will prolly miss this week too, but I think he will fine come week 12. My RBs are all servicable, none great. WR's are pretty awesome as I have SSMith, CJ and ROY Williams. I am thinking of offering ROY to the Gates owner to solidify my TE postion as Watson hasn't gotten it going like I thought he would. Do you think this is crazy? I really would love to go for a legitimate #1RB but that won't happen. What do yall think about this?

 

Any other suggestions on where I can upgrade? Trade deadline is this weekend.

Any chance you could move Betts and Roy to a former Portis owner, hoping to get his other back?

 

Roy for Gates seems ok to me, since you are really solid at WR. I'm in somewhat of the same boat as you (SA, Taylor, Addai, T. Jones) and have been trying to find another RB through trades as well.

EH, might be possible but I doubt it. His other back is Rudi and he has crazy man-love for him.

honestly i like your team going into preplayoffs. rbs are really the only need to improve.

I stay right where I am at. Betts will be good and Hbeck will be back or is back already. I usually screw my teams up by making trades. I like my drafted players so I stand. I think you should as well.

thanks. not too late. threw out on our site that ROY is on th block, waiting to if any popositions come in.
