Sux2butoo 0 Posted November 18, 2006 SA should play and if he does I see HUGE numbers vs SF, but maybe he'll take a knee since it is an easier game C. Taylor is looking at a similar problem with his injury but his team needs him more (BJ cannot throw and Miami is decent vs. the pass) and he is still iffy for the start Its then Bett's vs. the cheap hits of TB. I know he will play but think that TB doesn't realize it will be all runs for most of the game with a newb at QB? I have Betts in now as a safety net but need the points. I have the same problem in another league where its either C. Taylor or Dunn (vs. RAVENS) Just looking to an opinion because I am sure a few of you have either CT or SA for the weekend romps and may be looking at this problem as well. peace
Return of the King 0 Posted November 18, 2006 SA, he may only carry the ball a few times, but one of those carries should be for a td.
Fonzie2004 0 Posted November 18, 2006 My gut tells me Betts. You know he'll play, you're right about the rookie QB, and the Tampa DEF is Ok this year, but not so formidable you would stay away from it... I don't trust CA on the road at the Fish, who have a decent, if not good, run DEF. Until we know how SA is in terms of health, I wouldn't risk starting him. ramblin'wreck 0 Posted November 18, 2006 If it is a TD heavy league (6 pts), I would go with SA .. he may not get 30 carries, but he will get goal-line touches. Here's mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=254414
silliman9 0 Posted November 18, 2006 The only concern i'd have for SA is hes playing a bad defense so holmgrum might say why risk injury by playing him a lot. this could also mean he is going to have a great game, id take the chance with the mvp. Betts didnt run on dallas's D last week, and chester is doesnt find himself on the goalline much because the offense cant move the ball.

Washington played PHI last week and they ran all day!? Betts went 20 for 80+
