Kelvarr 13 Posted November 24, 2006 Ok...count me in with the group who has been hammered by the injuries of late. Here is my team: QB M. Vick D. Carr C. Frye RB D. McAllister F. Taylor T. Jones R. Brown M. Bell R. Bush WR A. Johnson J. Walker P. Burress D. Stallworth G. Jennings M. Colston TE A. Gates Start 2 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 RB/WR Flex I had McNabb, but due to his injury, I dropped him and picked up Frye. I was trying to swing some trades back when I had some depth (aka, before injuries). I got this trade this week: I Get Brady or Rivers - QB K. Johnson - WR D. Clark - TE I Give C. Frye P. Burress A. Gates My question is two fold; Rivers or Brady? Should I do it, considering the injuries? For what it is worth, it is a Yahoo league, and I can play Colston at TE (when he's healthy). For one i belive Buress has peaked this season he draws all the coverage with the loss of Toomer and the ineffectiveness of Tiki lately. That said they will try to involve tiki more but I would look for Shokey to shine the next few weeks. Gates is just not the focal point of that passing game anymore with Rivers. As for which QB you cant go wrong, but the schedule and weather may be a little more favorable for the chargersand Rivers. Key is agood guy to have depending on the matchup, and no doubt you should play Colston at Tight end. After that your team should be fairly solid in my opinion. nosferatu9368 0 Posted November 24, 2006 I'd make the trade and take Rivers the Chargers schedule come Fantasy Playoff time is real nice. You dont need Plax anymore and Gates just hasn't been involved much with LT goin nuts lately. Just hope he slows down a little so Rivers can score a few points. If Colston is hurt and seems to be out for a while I'm not sure I make this trade, Clark is too hit and miss but if you have a healthy Colston you obviously dont need Gates. Good Luck Peace... AIR it OUT 1 Posted November 25, 2006 I think i would take the deal with Brady, because with your remaining players left after the deal leaves you with a good lineup, it's almost like you're really only giving up plax, when you consider you can slide colston into the te spot. thanks for the help on mine.
