sb2232 0 Posted December 4, 2006 The team you see in my sig below is 9-4, winner of its conference and headed to the playoffs as a #2 seed. However, I have some huge quesion marks going into this matchup. First off is QB. Bulger has been shaky the past few weeks at best, and now he's going againsy Chicago's D. Do I take a flier on Leinart this week against Seattle? Or are any of these WW options better: Garcia (vs Was), Garrard (vs Indy), Campbell (vs Philly)? Second off is team D. Dallas has an incredibly unfavorable matchup this week against the Saints. I need a replacement . . . who sould it be? The pickings on our WW are slim here. My options include: Detroit (vs Minny), Giants (vs Buffalo), Tennesse (at Houston), KC (vs Baltimore), Indy (at Jacksonville), Philly (vs Washington). Which is the best option? I'm leaning towards Tennesse given their recent improvement, going against that terrible Houston offense. Any other thoughts? As always, leave a link and I'll help you! hawkvike 0 Posted December 4, 2006 My league doesn't have defenses (highly recommend doing this in you league), so I can't help you there. However, I would actually sit Bulger if I was you...can't believe I am saying this. I would either pick up Garrard or Garcia and go with them. Garcia is going against that terrible Washington pass defense and Garrard is looking good recently...and I am still not sold on that Indy defense. Please help with mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=257686
rdub15 0 Posted December 4, 2006 i've run in to the same dilemma w/ Bulger. deciding whether or not to start him this week. i might say start Garrard due to the fact that Jacksonville is in playoff contention and he has put up decent numbers as of late. Leinart could exploit Seattle's defense as well though and has potent weapons to do so. it's a toss up between those two i think. and again with defense, similar issue for me. i might have to start Denver D against SD. i'm thinking of picking up TEN as well against HOU, i think that's your best bet at this point. that Houston offense is inconsistent. please see mine, thanks: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=257695
joshb1975 0 Posted December 4, 2006 I think I'd be inclined to go with Garcia for your QB. Cutler was worse than bad last night. I didn't think his TDs had much to do with his effort. Leinert hasn't impressed me yet and Bulger is going to get pounded. As for your Def...um...not really sure there. You can probably count on at least 2 interceptions for Detroit (I'm a Vikings fan), but you have to worry about them getting run all over. Maybe Tenn is your best bet. This is my first year in FF and have learned that there is definately not anything that is definate. I am the genius that traded LT for Manning and a couple of others. Ouch. Good luck.
