Neckturd 0 Posted December 8, 2006 I am playing Steve Smith and Roy Williams, but with Ward sitting out and Colston a huge question mark, I have a big dilema. My other WRs are Randy Moss, who basically sucks this year and Marcus Robinson. I am sitting Moss regardless, but should I play Robinson or drop Moss and pick up Matt Jones or Burseson (we get points for return yards) and play one of them? T-HO 1 Posted December 8, 2006 I say as a longtime FF'er overanalyzing will kill you more than help. Ask who has the best chance at 5-8 targets and therefore 4-6 catches. Then it's M rob. Moss is a joke. Ruined any chance for me with the 3rd pick in the 4th rd as the 10th wr off the board. If you think N Dontburnmeagainleson will have the best shot at 10 pts w/ret yds than go with him.

I hate to say it, but I think Moss is your best option there. If you refuse to play him because you hate him as I do.... then here are some suggestions: 1) Is Furrey (detroit) an option? Hes available on waivers in most leagues, and he is a fairly consistant point producer so far this year. 2) Eddie Kennison is available on waivers in our league. With the return of Trent Green, he may still be under the radar. In my opinion, he is one of the most underrated WR's in the game. Fairly consistant.... gets 70-80 yards per game when all is well with him & his QB.... but wont put up that 150 yard game that will win it for you. Matt jones isnt a horrible option. He's put up reasonable numbers when he hasnt been injured. If the two guys listed above are not an option, hes an adequate fill in
Ray_T 753 Posted December 8, 2006 Marty booker and Drew bennett may not be bad fill-ins either. Booker has been solid since Harrington took over the starting role at QB
Neckturd 0 Posted December 8, 2006 You guys are getting off target. Booker is not available and I have Williams, so Furrey is not an option....Should I play Randy Moss Marcus Robinson Matt Jones Burleson (return yards)

He's by far the most consistant of the bunch. His two terrible weeks were when he was still injured and didnt get on the field all that much. hes your best bet. I only mentioned the other names because they are guys available on the wire in our league, and I figured there is a chance that they are available in yours. sometimes you can find gems on the waiver wire late in the season. nmesaga 0 Posted December 8, 2006 go with burleson then.. looks like you're leaning that way..
irish2007 0 Posted December 8, 2006 id go with matt jones. he has had an off season this year, but has picked his game up the last 2 weeks including 6 catches 118 yds and a score last week, i believe. i would drop moss, he sucks royally and is a waste of a roster spot. thanks for mine
