For what its worth, 49ers aren't really playing for anything while Philly is still very much alive for a playoff spot. Also, in the last meetings against their opponents this week: Gore vs SEA in week 11: 24 carries for 212 yds plus 4 receptions for 26 yds (but 0 TDs) Westbrook vs NYG in week 2: 19 carries for 68 yds plus 7 receptions for 56 yds (and 1 TD) Have to think that Seattle will attempt to clamp down Gore while the Giants have other offensive threats to concern themselves with besides Westy so I would lean towards Westbrook (in a very slight edge). Dr. Hardbody 0 Posted December 13, 2006 I like Gore. But be careful with that pick. Mike Holmgreen will not forget Gore going for 212 against him in frisco. Plus Qwest is very noisy which equals false starts and passing downs. Westbrook is good, But Andy Reid seems content with having Garcia throw. Cjt727 0 Posted December 13, 2006 I've got the same situation. As much as I like Westbrook, I'm gonna go with Gore because of what he did to them last time. The Giants completely shut out the Panthers running game, and while Westbrook is better than Williams and Foster combined, I'm stil a bit afraid he might not do too hot. WildHaire3 0 Posted December 13, 2006 Same dilemma (see other thread) I'm leaning Gore because even if the weather is crappy he'll still run the ball a ton. but could fumble with a wet ball I think I'm going Gore like I did in 2000.
