Megabd14 0 Posted December 20, 2006 I'm going with NE in my league although Miami has done well with turnovers at home.
TredH20 0 Posted December 20, 2006 I need to decide between these Defenses: Patriots @ Jacksonville, or Miami vs Jets Any feedback is appreciated Miami was relentless against the Pats a few weeks ago. Brady had no time in the pocket, constantly being harrassed. But...they didnt look great last weekend against the Bills, despite generating some pressure. New Englands rush defense of late hasnt been that great. I can see MoJo racking up a lot of yardage against the Pats. But yardage doesnt neccesarily translate into scores. The Pats D usually makes the big stop when it counts...and coming off a hot game like last week I think they will be eager to repeat. I would go with the Pats D. ~Fantasy Girl~ 0 Posted December 21, 2006 JAX has been a turnover machine as of late. They could be the most under-achieving team in the NFL. Can't beat the beatable. MIA is home. Pennington struggles outdoors. Still go with Pats
ravenwood 1 Posted December 21, 2006 I need to decide between these Defenses: Patriots @ Jacksonville, or Miami vs Jets Any feedback is appreciated Buddy - I would go with Miami. Pennington does not play too well in S. Fla. and the Pats D is hit or miss on the road.
LoserKid 0 Posted December 21, 2006 Thanks for the help with mine. As good as the Dolphin's D looked against Miami, they looked equally as bad during their loss to Buffalo. I think if you start the Pats you have a better chance of getting a fair amount of points, while Miami will either be all or none. Personally I would go w/ the Pats. HTH. hogs22 0 Posted December 22, 2006 I agree with whats already been said. CP and Jets could flop and MIA is great at times, but craptastic the very next week. PATS aren't always great on Def, but have rarely screwed the pooch either. You could go with MIA and win big, or you could also go in the hole with them With the PATS you might win big (especially vs. Jax) or you may get an average defensive effort. Either way it is better than risking what could happen by playing MIA thanks for the help with mine
kcsportsguy 0 Posted December 22, 2006 Hey Buddy, Go with the Phins. They always get sacks and fumbles. Their D has been really good at scoring touchdowns off turnovers too. Pennington known to throw some picks. Their playing at home too. As UnderArmor states...."We must protect this house". Pats on the road and left their house. craphouse rats 0 Posted December 22, 2006 I am going with the Pats this week. Garrard threw three picks last week, hopefully he does it again.
CHI60608 0 Posted December 22, 2006 I think both should be good starts, so in this situation i would go w/ the home team- MIA Mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=261733
Baylorboy123456 0 Posted December 22, 2006 If Jax was on the road, NE. However, since they are at home, go with Miami. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=261747
Grizzly 0 Posted December 22, 2006 I'd go with the Patriots D All Jacksonville can do is run the ball They have not looked good throwing. I can see a few interceptions (which means chances for a TD).
