soopacee 0 Posted July 4, 2007 Vince Young single-handedly made the Titans an 8 win team with an outside shot at the playoffs last season. Without his heroics in a number of games, they would have been lucky to win 4 games. His completion percentage sucked, he threw more INTs than TDs, his QB rating sucked...but the guy is a WINNER. He will need to improve (he was a rookie after all), but if I were a Titans fan, I'd be damn happy to have him. wow, this is starting off just like it did on the titans message board, and i am now banned from there haha seriously though, i think as a player, his personality on and off the field is great....you can tell the guy wants to win.......so as a titans fan yeah, its good BUT....i cant just erase the "hook shot"....it haunts me, like the cody carlson days......he was a rookie and i understand, throw picks, take your bumps....its part of the game......but that pass rookie or not is just retarded, take the sack like a man, they always teach you to protect the ball, if your gonna get sacked, just protect the ball.....when your forcing passes like that, hell, i dont even consider that a pass.....your in trouble.....and he should know better because watching him in college, he looked so poised and never made stupid mistakes like that....oh well as for SINGLE-handedly......thats where i completely disagree....pacman and henry were HUGE factors aswell.....yeah Young was BIG for alot of those wins, but cant knock them other 2 fellas, hell even bo scaife but from a fantasy standpoint, i dont think he is ready to be a top 10 qb......he is fun to watch, but you dont get fantasy points for fun...titans always been a pound the ball running team, BUT the only upside to that for young is, there rb's suck this year.....Brown will get hurt.....i think Lendale will actually be good, from what i seen he is 100% serious about winning the job, and keeping it......i just dont expect huge numbers for lendale since the #1 back really is Young take Favre instead.....he is a steal seriously.......unless you lose points for ints (my league doesnt)....probably his last year, he has nothing around him, and he is trying to break 2 records.....he is gonna SLING the ball everywhere like he dont give a damn.......i seriously say 4,000 yds and 20+ td's Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
