The late Lady Diana birthday tribute.

Recommended Posts

We were camping and my wife was watching this piss poor excuse of a tribute show. Focking puff daddy and some more negros and some white singers that wish they were black. That Nelly Furtado , I wonder just how focking nasty that chick could get. Nice azz though.

I'm sorry, did you say you were camping and watching TV? Sounds like fun!

I didn't even bother to read the rest of his post once I saw that. :dunno:

Well ole Di loved those bands and type of music so the boys asked them to perform in her honor. Guess they suck for that.

Someone please show me where Diana held in high regard Puff Daddy,Kanya West,Fergie and the Furtado chick. Thats about all I saw and that was only bits and pieces. The rest of the time I was busy ramming a fork into my eardrum. The eardrum thing was far less painful. As far as the camping thing goes, well my little camper has a tv and so does about 99% of the other campers I saw this weekend. As far as Lady Di is concerned, well I could take her or leave her. I mean I appreciate all the humanitarian good deeds she done and all but when she started blowing that muslim guy that pretty much turned me sour on her.

Not that I saw the whole thing, but all in all, I thought it was pretty decent. The goal was to cover a wide range of music - and they did that very successfully. Hard to put together an artist/play list that diverse that doesn't have one group of people booing loudly at a given time.

The Brits needed it. Between the natural disaasters and the terrorism over there, it was good that they could let their ginger hair down and relax for a bit. Diana is, was and will always be the best part of the ridiculous 'Royals' over there. This was the first real independent national action on the part of the Princes, and they did well. I'll never understand how we can have royalty in a Democracy, but at this point, they're more of a national icon than an actual ruler.

I'm glad it went well and safely. I'm glad the Princes & all the Brits got to have a good time. I'm glad people took time to remember Lady Diana and - it raised a hell of a lot of money for very worthy causes.

If you guys can biitch about that - well, it's the Geek Bored. We'd find a way to biitch about free BJ's from supermodels. :first:

I'll be back to my usual  self by the next post.
