WoodDuck2003 0 Posted August 6, 2007 Okay 12 team dynasty league and I have P.Manning/E.Manning/D.Huard. I am solid and young at RB but not much depth (R.Bush/J.Norwood/M.Lynch/W.Dunn/A.Thomas) and okay at WR(Holt/Branch/Chambers/Horn/Jennings/Jarrett). Is there anything I could do with P.Manning to improve my situation or just ride this team this year and look to add depth in next years rookie draft? Poloc2289 0 Posted August 6, 2007 I'm not familiar with what a dynasty team is but I'll try to help out anyway. Peyton Manning is really the only QB you have because behind him is a struggling QB who's situation is not getting better and an average QB who should be unseated by a 2nd year player this year. I actually like your running backs because they have a bunch of upside. The sky's the limit for Bush, Norwood, and Lynch and I could see you handcuffed Norwood and Lynch. I'm not big on handcuffing those two. Going on to the WR's, I would be a little worried. Torry Holt is Mr. Consistency and should provide you solid points throughout the year. However, Branch is having trouble holding his own spot in Seattle with the resurging DJ Hackett. Chambers is a hot and cold WR so hopefully you catch him on his hot days and Jennings should put up #2 numbers while Jarrett, if he does anything, will only be utilized in the red zone. Bottom line is, I would ride this team out and if someone gets hot (like Chambers), maybe use him as trade bait to pick up a more legit WR or RB
bjlmonster 0 Posted August 6, 2007 I agree that I don't trust Eli either. Problem is that for what you would have to get in return for Peyton to make it worthwhile for you probably won't be given up. If you can get a solid starting QB and RB + WR help, I would ride out the season and hope your young backs come along quickly.
