Tjung 0 Posted August 15, 2007 My gut tells me Parker but my head is telling that Maroney could be huge. What would you guys do. PPR league and my other keepers are Larry Johnson and Terrell Owens. Thanks in advance
mobb_deep 917 Posted August 15, 2007 Both are young, with low-medium injury risk (Parker knees/Maroney shoulders). Both are on good teams with a commitment to the run and solid D. I'd take Parker for one reason and one reason alone, he's done it before! Parker has, and can carry the load (very well I might add). Maroney struggled to stay on the field even with Dillon splitting carries. I think you gotta roll with Parker on this one. Please see mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=279830
Sux2butoo 0 Posted August 15, 2007 I am sorry but Maroney to me is the better back long term. Parker is decent now and was decent last year but they will go back to a 2 RB situation since it worked for the Super Bowl, ie: he will eventually not get the TDs since he is not a power back. The same could be said of Maroney but he is younger and he will have more of a chance to run without pressure b/c Brady is a threat where Ben is no where near one. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=279880
