Anyone play in a 2QB league ?

Recommended Posts

I play in a 10 Man League...2QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1 Flex, 1 TE and 1 Def., usual scoring format. I've got the #1 pick, obviously it's LT, with the 20 and 21 picks, I'm undecided. What do you think of drafting the 2 best QB's that are available?

If there is anyone out there playing in a 2QB league, would you be interested in putting a Mock Draft together? It is virtually impossible to find one out in the internet world.

I'm in my first one this year (10 team). Value wise I know QB's move up quite abit. FF Points, Value and ADP are the last 3 fields. I'm going to make sure I get one of the top 6 though this year.

Thanks for that list. Is that simply a listing of Top 70 players? Cause if it's from a computer model, it is way off. The Top 3 QB's are usually gone by pick 12 or 13, the 2 QB dynamic changes everything. This is to be your 1st year doing it, you'll see, I try to tell people that it is a totally different Draft that the norm.

Are you and your fellow FF guys interested in starting a mock draft? Another website allows it for free.

it seems like an alright plan, but my policy is not to lock yourself into one strategy because there are always players who slip through the cracks who will cause you to change your strategy.

for example: what if a bunch of QB's go in round 2? Then I think you go WR-RB with your next 2 picks instead of QB-QB.

I agree this is a little unlikely, but in a league where you start 2 QB's you do need to take QB's earlier in the draft than you would for a 1 QB draft.

there are certain QB's I would target if they are available:

1) manning (99% chance he will be gone)

2) Palmer (maybe available, maybe not)

3) Bulger (likely available)

4) Brees

5) McNabb

6) Kitna

if you cant get two of the above players, I wouldnt take 2 QB's in the 2nd round. I'd go QB/WR or QB/RB. (likely your best call anyways)

oh, and if you manage to get Manning and Palmer, go buy yourself a lotto ticket cuz you're one lucky SOB.

I play in a 12 team league, starting 2 QBs, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, Flex, TE, K. This was with a group of guys I've played with for the last 4 years, but this is the first year we did the 2 QB thing. Normally I wait on QBs til late unless I see some real value.

This year, I had the 12th pick, and by the time I got around to picking, most of the RBs I would have wanted were gone, and I figured I wasn't going to win the league with RB dominance, so I switched up the plan a bit. With Peyton gone, I took Westbrook and then Brees (coin toss with Palmer and Bulger too, but Brees outranked them last year). Then in rounds 3 and 4, I took Thomas Jones and Vince Young (he was 8th or so in our league last year in QB points). So rather than waiting til round 8+ for a QB, I ended up taking 2 in the first 4 rounds. It remains to be seen how it will work out, but since we start 2 QBs, and I drafted so late, I thought I'd try something new.

My advice would be to take at least one of the Palmer/Brees/Bulger group if they're there. If they're not, you might find some RB value. Listen to the guy who posted before me - be willing to adapt. The 2 QB thing makes the draft a lot more interesting in my opinion. Good luck.

Hey fellas, thanks for the advice. If 2 good ones are there, I'll take'em, that was my plan anyway, but only if there are 2 Top 5 guys left. Thanks again and good luck.
