adam smitty 0 Posted September 5, 2007 That looks fairly close on paper, I'd probably throw the pick #s into a draft calculator and see what it says. http://footballguys.com/pickvalue.htm But I like what your giving up more than what you'd be getting by a tad. Eriadoc 4 Posted September 5, 2007 Hmmm ... I don't like that trade at all, even if you are panicking about Holt (as I am). Holt + Roy Williams > Driver + Bennett Edge is roughly equal of what you'll get from the GB strating RB, which is not that great. Given that Jackson has upside due to opportunity, I'd stay with him. If you think Edge bounces back in a big way this year (1500 yds, 8 TDs), then maybe. Maybe not, still. Kitna < Palmer: Palmer is a better QB by a mile, but in that system, Kitna actually puts up good fantasy numbers. If you really think Holt is going to tank this year AND you think Edge will rebound big, then do the trade. Otherwise, I advise staying put.

Drew Bennett is going to be a good sleeper this year. Kitna's going to throw the ball a lot. But I just like the weapons around Palmer. And Edge has something to prove this year with a young team that is getting more and more experience. That's a good trade.
R8dr Fan 87 0 Posted September 5, 2007 looks like a good deal for both teams involved if your worried about holt
-bp- 0 Posted September 5, 2007 It looks pretty fair...Edge is questionable (and Shipp may take some goal line carries), Driver is good but comes with some risk. But I might still take the trade because I think there is a considerable gain at QB. Kitna put up pretty good numbers last year but i don't think he'll repeat. ---> http://fftoday.com/articles/anderson/07_qb_stat_trends.htm
