Rate My Plan for Stabilizing Iraq or Just Rate My Team

Recommended Posts

I would think about moving Rothlesburger (after a few weeks if he blows up) and Benson for an upgrade at RB. You might have to wait a week or two but an upgrade at #2 RB would be my primary concern. Still a good lineup though.

You are solid at QB.

Great at RB, but Taylor will be useless in a few weeks, which is fine cuz you have Jacobs.

I live in CHI, and am not confident that Benson will be a good fantasy producer.

WR is fine as is. Always start Harrison, and play the matchups on the other 2.

Ravens D is fantastic.

That being said, if you can move Taylor (while he has value) and Benson in a pkg deal for a stud RB, you'll have 3 great backs, instead of 1 great back, 2 mediocre backs, and one potentially great back. Look for someone who has a great back, and then nothing. OR, leave it as it is, and you should still make the playoffs (12 team) and take it all in a ten teamer.

Thanks for the help on mine.

Do you need a TE in your league. If you don't your fine. It will be tough to upgrade your 2nd back because you don't have alot to work with. Thanks for your reply.

depends on what the starting positions look like, main concern would be RB2 and WR3 spots assuming you start 2RB and 3WR. for the WR3 spot just hope galloway will perform well, for the RB2 look for a 2RB for 1RB trade since its a 12 man team im sure there must be a team in need for RBs. maybe jones and benson for someone ....

Sorry should've stated.

No TE. Unfortunately, this is a cut throat league and no trades allowed either. Only WW work.

yea look for a hot receiver out of the first two weeks. After harrison and driver your WR's get quite weak, although Hackett has potential.

Team is in the signature.

Let me know where you think I can improve and what possible moves you recommend.

Thanks!

I agree with the poster who said to keep an eye on Ben Roth and sell high if he does well early. In addition, watch the other teams in your league this week and next - see if there could be an opportunity to package 2 of your RBs that are NOT named Addai to hustle a better RB2. There's a good chance you may not need to upgrade there after all, though...but you can def target a better WR.

Any moves you think about now should be targeted at acquiring a better RB2 or WR2, but you're really worrying about it too early...and thats a good thing because it means your team is very good! Don't make a move just for the sake of doing so...you have the luxury of hanging back and see how your players start out of the gate, and see who else in your league will get desperate early (someone will, no doubt). Looks to me like you'll probably have plenty of ammo to take advantage of that kind of situation later.

Thanks for answering mine!

yep, looks like packaging Rothleisberger with another player is the way to go -- either with Benson for another back, or a receiver to upgrade there. I would wait a couple weeks at least, maybe half the season to see how things pan out. A lot depends on Benson. If you like what you see the first few weeks, deal for a receiver. But from the looks of it, as long as driver stays healthy, then you're set there and can look to improve RB.
