Protagonist 0 Posted September 16, 2007 Need to start 6.. I'm going with R. Moss, T. Owens, L. Jordan, M. Lynch, A. Boldin... my 6th option is T. Holt, T. Jones, L. Betts or James Jones I want to start Jones, what would you do? Its only one week but Holt sucks against the Niners, who have Clements now and Bulger won't be looking downfield too often. Meanwhile Jones had 8 targets (1 coulda-been TD) and is #2 with Jennings out facing G-Men who just finished getting torched. I will respond to yours, thanks

Beef Ravioli 0 Posted September 16, 2007 I think that is pretty crazy to play Jones over Holt. Maybe you have some inside info or a real strong gut feeling, but I think you have to play Holt. phillybrawlr 0 Posted September 16, 2007 that's pretty crazy. i'm actually thinking of picking up and starting jones in place of coles but am struggling to pull that trigger.
paul revere 0 Posted September 16, 2007 For real....Holt is the guy here
WindyCitySportsFan 0 Posted September 16, 2007 I think you have to play Holt this week and see if the Rams can manage to fail two weeks in a row. History says that probably won't happen. I can't fault you for doubting them though. I have the same doubts about starting Vernon Davis and even Boldin as talented as they are. If, after this week, you're still disappointed then it might be time to start taking chances on largely unproven players.
WoodDuck2003 0 Posted September 16, 2007 There is no way I give the nod to Jones over Holt. Portis is healthy so Betts gets mimimal work. T.Jones, if he was fully healthy would be the play IMO, but he is not...hell he may not even play. Based on your choices I say Holt is the guy. I know he has not done well against them in the past but I think this year the are really going to be focused on shutting down S.Jax and that could be a good think for Bulger and Holt this season. Week 2 is not the time to sit Studs unless it is an extreme situation with very good options...and Jones/Jones/Betts are not what I would call very good options. Good Luck and please see mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=287753
