FWP + Favre for SJax + Vjax + Losman

I expect Steven Jackson to bounce back but FWP has been looking great this season with a revamped Steelers offense that looks ultra powerful, Brett Favre is an upgrade for me over J.P Losman (big time my 2nd QB was Losman/Tavaris) and Vincent Jackson basically meant nothing to me as our WW WR are deep.

 

What do you think?

I don't think I would deal SJax just yet, FWP is better now but I expect SJax to improve as StL adjusts it's O-line w/o Pace.

If Favre is an upgrade, I don't see anything wrong with that trade. it sounds like a pretty fair trade to me. If Willie keeps this up, he will have better numbers than SJax at the end of the year anyway. Vincent Jackson can't get open and Losman is well Losman, so no loss at those two positions. Sounds good to me.

I wouldn't do that trade, you're forgetting that FWP as played against Cleve. and Buffalo so far.

 

SJax still has higher value than FWP.

 

Are you really THAT sold on Favre?????

SJax starts slow. He got 0 rushes in the preseason, he's still getting into football shape IMO.

I'm more sold on Favre than J.P Losman...

It is obvious that Favre is going to be airing it out all day with his RB hurting and with great weapons and a great defense, J.P Losman has ... Lynch and Lee Evans. Teams are keying on Evans and it looks like he could be in real trouble this year, without Evans producing J.P Losman isn't half the QB that he was.

 

I feel that after watching the St. Louis game the Rams are going to fall behind and engage in loads of shootouts this year, they completely ignored Steven Jackson and aired it out for the 4th quarter. He also saw incredibly small holes and couldn't make people miss like he did in 06'.

 

Even against Buffalo and Cleveland, FWP I feel has great upside due to the fact that he can easily break one to the house every time he touches the ball, and it looks like he will get about the same touches as Steven Jackson this year. S-Jax doesn't have that break through speed to go 40 or 50 yards for a TD after he breaks the hole, he is more of a chunk yardage runner.

 

You think I made the right move?

Even if it turns out that Steven Jackson turns back to his old form, 2000 total yds 14 TD. FWP could have 1700 yards and 14 TD also, and with the upgrade with Favre over Losman; is this not a win win situation?

Your right about Willy, he will have a ton of touches and some nice long runs. I guess if you won't regret it when/if SJax gets some big games then don't worry about it. Enjoy the upgrade at QB.

I would do it. At this point in the season FWP has more value then SJax. Losman is just horrible, so that would be a huge upgrade.

I would do not do it. I expect S jax to bounce back.

V jax has played against two tough def.

 

FWP has played against very poor run defenses. (look at what henry did to the bills in week 1 and what rudi did to the browns in week 2).

I would probably do it. FWP is legit. SJAX could be bad (but I am hoping not, ha) Dunno if he will get FWP stats this year though. See mine plase

I'd go for it. I know guys like SJax and LJ are starting slow and will bounce back but SJax's stinkeroos this past 2 weeks have been AT HOME !
