Brown D Empty-dropped Cincy Ok recently offered a trade which was accepted. I am sending Berrian to owner for Lee Evans. So now would be at Wayne, Evans, Cotchery. I am considering a trade with another team which essentially would boil down to Hines Ward for Cotchery. Would you rather have Hines or Jerricho going forward. I am a homer but the guy is up there in yards and he hasnt even really gotten going. Also depends on what kind of league youre in. I think the safest bet is Hines, the gut move, for me, is Cotchery. OD99 0 Posted September 19, 2007 I think I am going to make your decision even harder because I would keep your team as is (noting Lee trade is already done). Ward might be listed as the #1 but he is a possession receiver, always has been. With the emphasis on the big play I think Ward gets lost in the mix a little - combine that with FWP taking a bunch of carries and swing passes and that new TE adding another target in the red zone and I see Ward's numbers being way down this season. Cotchery played well last season is doing well so far this season so I don't see any reason to switch a guy who is on the rise for one who may be starting the downside of his career. SirJiggabins 0 Posted September 19, 2007 You have to go with Ward here. As another poster said, Cotchery could disappear for games at a time, especially if Clemens is his QB for a while.
