I traded Portis and Bobby Engram for Willie Parker and T. Glenn today. The guy is a die hard redskins fan and loves Portis. At 1st I thought I would jump on it but I was never a big fan of Willie. I drafted portis in the 3rd round and Willie was a 1st round pick.

 

So i think Willie will produce and Redskins just lost the right side of their line so that was a factor also.

Glenn is preobably out for the season, but, I dont think you screwed up. Parker should perform very well. I dont think the difference in production between FWP and Portis will be that dramatic, but I wouldnt say you screwed up.

I am assuming Engram is not your main WR and I would agree that you did not mess up. Steelers are a run first team and FWP is going to be a nice fantasy back

Nah..... Engram was on my bench and I don't really care about Gleen either. Maybe he plays later on.

Also i was thinking that Parker has a better team, better line and 2 games vs Cinn. and Cleveland plus his 2nd game vs Balt. is in week 17, which my league does not play.

You did fine, although Glenn is done for the year. I love Fast Willie and Portis will break down, plus there is always Betts lurking.

i think you made out big time in that trade. you basically traded portis for FWP....parker doesn't share carries in a good offsense. the two wrs didn't mean much to either team in my opinion. with gore and fwp you should be set for a solid run, especially with your other wrs

I like FWP, had him last year and he always has chances to have huge games and is in an improved offense this year. I think Portis is going to be consistent giving good high end RB2 numbers, but won't really blow up because Betts will be there for garbage time. I think you made the right move and came out on top with that trade.

I love FWP this year, you made out fine IMO. Glenn is pretty much garbage but it doesn't really matter to you too much, Engram is a bench warmer. Plus you get to laugh at him when Portis gets hurt and you can use Betts at RB, LOL!!!!!!

no the only thing you screwed up on was taking Glenn becuase youre just going to have to dump him. But FWP for Portis was a steal

Yep, basically a consensus. Best case portis and FWP score about the same FF pts..worst case portis gets injured or shares more carries with betts. you did well. the WRs are insignificant.
