slestack11 0 Posted September 27, 2007 It's pretty sad that I'd be posing this question, but please reply with who you think will have the better season going forward between these two former stud QB's. I currently have McNair as my 3rd QB and am considering dropping him for Culpepper. I have to pay per transaction in my league so it might be a waste of money as both players will likely suck. I just wanted to see what people had to say about these two schmucks.

Guest _my_2_cents_ Posted September 27, 2007 keep in mind that both of these QBs have a tenuous hold on their jobs. CPep might be gone when McClown is healthy - if that doesn't get him, Jamarcus Russell will be starting at some point, probably by week 8. McNair has Boller looking over his shoulder, and Billick has a very quick trigger finger. This isn't some AZ situation where the team owes the fans or franchise sh!t except winning football games - if McNair sucks you will see Boller in there, perhaps mid-game. From there it could switch back & forth weekly. You just can't know.
Pound 0 Posted September 27, 2007 I've heard rumors (sorry no link) that Baltimore may be doing a QBBC. Maybe they liked what they saw last week from Leinart/Warner? Culpepper was just terrible before he got pulled last season in Miami. If it was more of an injury-thing and less of a no-moss-thing then perhaps he's better now and can start tossing it around more. Oakland does seem more likely to be behind in games, and you'd think more throwing when that happens, both teams have good defense. Culpepper gets the short term nod but I'd like to see him play a game first.
CookieG 4 Posted September 27, 2007 Sucks, as a Curry owner to think that if he continues his fine sleeper season, if the Raiders head where we think they will.. the big draft pick will come in to muck it up.. but i guess i knew this going in. That's why we trade high or add/drop. To the OP, why don't you just take a wait n' see approach. I can't remeber a more confusing week for adding a QB.. we will know a lot more in a week or two.. and it is your 3rd QB.
