Niners_fan 0 Posted October 1, 2007 Rotoworld: Laurence Maroney (groin) will be inactive for Monday night's game. ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reported earlier this afternoon that Maroney would start, but now has learned that his information was wrong. Sammy Morris will likely split carries with Kevin Faulk. It's uncertain who will start, but Morris makes for a better fantasy play. His tougher running style matches up favorably with a smallish and beat up Bengals defense. Well I just checked this before going out and plugged in Watson to fill the gap. I'd recommend putting one of those guys in there if you were relying on Maroney to start for your team. HenryChinaski 1 Posted October 1, 2007 ESPN is really horrible. They reported that Derrick Ward would be out yesterday. Now they reported that Maroney would start. Wrong again. Why can't they get called on this stuff? They should have more access and more information that anyone, how can they be wrong so much? That's why I subscribe to footballinjuries.com - they get it right. As for Maroney being out, I can't help but be excited. I had to start Morris since Bush/Portis were off, and Ahman was hurt. I need a nice amount of points from Palmer/Morris/PatsD ... Now I like my chances for the win. Go Sammy! Go Palmer! Go Adalius! hehe
Bradman5 0 Posted October 2, 2007 I know it's a long shot, but I need 18 points. I can go with either Morris or Wes Welker. 6 points for all TD's, 1 point for every 10 rush/rec. yards. Any chance one of these guys can get me a win, if so who do you guys think is most likely to go off tonight? Thanks for any input!

Bradman5 0 Posted October 2, 2007 Team Management Questions Belong On The "A Little Help" board. No chit! I didn't start this thread, I just asked a question in the thread that applied to the original topic. Instead of being a jerk nut you could have gave some insight to the matter. Thanks for wasting my time AZZ!

Morris probably more likely to get a couple touchdowns which is what you need. Now of course, Welker will get 3 TD's.

But you're probably right about Morris. Thanks for the input though!
Niners_fan 0 Posted October 2, 2007 Thanks for the whopping 5 points Kenny Watson even though I won anyway was expecting at least 8 or 9. Sammy Morris is looking like a must have handcuff for us Maroney owners whom I will never draft again.
