GettnHuge 2 Posted October 10, 2007 Bout this time every year I wander down to the local nursery and buy an exotic plant or two that is unlikely to survive the winter, so they basically mark it down to nothing. A couple years back I bought 3 Calamondin orange trees which look like real trees, are covered with very bitter fruit(which goes greta with alcohol) and are less than 2ft tall. nifty plants Anyway, recently I bought two musa banana trees which are only a couple feet tall for next to nothing. Figured they'd do ok indoors, if not, oh well so I wasted a few bucks. Well I figgered I'd look up some info on their name which is 'musa basjoo banana'. Turns out, these fockers can survive the winter in much of north america with little to no protection. The fruit isn't edible, but just having something like that in a colder climate like by a pool would be schweet. rink The two that I bought: rink
