GhostofMeanMachine99 1 Posted October 12, 2007 Addai and Keith are on the bye this week, and Lamont Jordan is going to be a game-time decision. I could go out and pick up a meaningless FA body to fill the spot, however that would force me to jettison Keith off the roster (and I like the handcuff for obvious reasons). All that said, I think I'm gonna roll with LT and Turner as my starting backfield this weekend. The Raiders haven't been the greatest run defense this year, and both guys, and the team, seem to be prepared to make a serious run. Has anyone ever done this and gotten positive results? Should I not do this (please give me your theories as to why not)? Thoughts?
Guest _my_2_cents_ Posted October 12, 2007 No, I wouldn't. The Raiders have enough offense to keep this game from getting out of hand (and frankly so should the Broncos) and it is highly unlikely that we will see as much Turner as we did in last week's blowout. As has been mentioned, 23 of Turner's 26 fantasy points (std scoring) came in one game....of more important note, 95% of those 23 points came on one play - the 70+ yd TD he broke. Good luck getting that again on 2-5 touches.
