qb jack 0 Posted October 23, 2007 My team looks like: QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1 RB/WR, TE, D/ST, K Palmer (Big Ben) Addai (B. Jacobs) Westbrook (J. Chatman) Edge Roy Williams (Andre Johnson) B. Engram A. Gates (G. Olsen) Cowboys S. Graham I trade away Palmer and Edge and get Housh and S. Alexander I am 3 games out of first, and feel like this makes my team as consistent as possible from top to bottom...especially with andre coming back
CookieG 4 Posted October 23, 2007 I don't think i'd do this.. there's no major benefit to your team looking more steady on paper.. I love Housh, who doesn't, but i can't see Pitts throwing it as often as they are when the weather turns. You'd be giving up a QB who can blow teams out for you by himself some weeks, for a great WR (ironically his guy) and a quickly fading SA. I also don't get your rationale.. why deal away the big QB and get a #1WR with AJ coming back? I would lean toward keeping Palmer.
hooflungpoo 0 Posted October 23, 2007 i wouldnt do it. i agree that when it turns colder in pitts, big ben will be handing off to fwp. housh is awesome, but you have a great wr corps already and alexander sucks donkey balls.
qb jack 0 Posted October 23, 2007 thanks for the replies...but in my league, Palmer (19.8 ppg) isn't outscoring Big Ben (17.8ppg) by all that much. Look at Ben's production in the second half of the year throughout his career: stats Doesn't seem to be that big of deal when it gets "cold" outside. With TJ, I get an incredible WR (16.8ppg) to add consistency to Roy Willliams (great out of the gate, but poor as of late), and an unpredictable A. Johnson coming out of a knee injury I know Alexander blows...that is just something that rounds out the deal... and I have no problem dealing Edge with the Arizona offense looking for a steady QB with Kurt Warner now beat up you still say NO? kac1 0 Posted October 23, 2007 I still wouldn't do it..for the reasons Cookie gave. see mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=297613
idiotec 31 Posted October 23, 2007 I think I would do it. You stick Housh in there, and even with Ben at QB, I think your team is stronger. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=297686
whiteknight 0 Posted October 23, 2007 i think I would do it, barely....housh is the most money player ntot anmed brady...Ben is more than capable of holding his own, even when the weather gets cooler...you would be so solid at WR, my only question would be your RB's...thanks for mine
