Need to leave a roster spot open - uggh

The bye's this week are killin' me...

 

Shockey is on a bye this week. I grabbed Pittsburgh as my DEF off waivers. But I'm debating if I should drop Pittsburgh and grab a TE off waivers and leave my DEF blank??

 

No PPR. Def scores 1pt for fumbles and interceptions and 6 pts for any TD. If I do grab a TE, they're not going to be a sure bet for a score, but neither are DEF scores, but PIT is ranked as a top D this week.

 

 

Here's my roster as it stands:

QB: Tony Romo

RB1: Tomlinson

RB2: Marshawn Lynch

WR1: Reggie Wayne

WR2: Joey Galloway

TE: <BLANK>

Flex: Selvin Young

DEF: Pittsburgh

 

Bench: Jeremy Shockey – TE (bye), Torry Holt (bye), Brandon Jacobs (bye), DeShaun Foster (vs. Ten), Laveranues Coles (vs. Wash and probably won't play)

 

So... drop PIT and grab a TE off waivers? If so, I'm thinking I'd grab either:

Viscanthe Shiancoe - MIN vs. SD

Donald Lee – GB vs. KC

Will Heller – SEA vs. CLE or

Jeff King – Car vs. Ten

I'd stay with Pitt D/ST.

 

Of the TEs I like Lee, but KC has allowed 6 receiving TD all year long - not much.
