mo-mo - a sneaky play this week?

Recommended Posts

It is sounding like Alexander might just be out completely for this weekend. M Morris (Mo-Mo) just might be a great play. Is he a significantly better play against SF than match-ups like MJD vs TENN or Priest vs DEN? What are your thoughts?

i just added m. morris in one of my leauges......

all them injuries dont sound well at all for alexander, plus holgrem saying he wanted to throw more, i think morris will get alot more touches even if S.A. plays, after this week.

I know its the wrong board but i picked up Morris also. Is he a better play than Chatman or Steven Jackson this week? ( I know my RBs suck.)

Morris sucked last year when he played and Alexander has sucked this year. Morris isn't going to do anything behind that run blocking either.

your probally right, m.morris does suck.....but a ppr league for a minimum pick up, he could help you a lil.......i wouldnt sell the farm for him, but 12-15 points a week wouldnt kill ya.....EXPECT NO TDS.........

Chatman is not a bad play at all in a PPR league. There is not a huge difference in talent between he and Ronnie Brown. Cam will continue to dump the ball off to Chatman because none of the receivers (except Ginn occasionally) can get open. Chatman runs VERY hard. He plays balls out, just like MBIII. That said, I think Chatman is a better start than MoMo.

Thanks. I probably will go with Chatman and Jackson.

Not to highjack this thread but the Saints run D is actually good (season ticket holder) so I hate to start Jackson against them but no real choice.

Morris might not have any td's but at 4.6 per carry and better hands catching passes out of the backfield he would be a better play over Chatman who is facing a bills team that has only had one rb gain 100 yards on them in the last 5 weeeks

rushers against the 49er d the last three weeks

141

108

141

Think Morris will be a great play this week

and im a seahawks fan...no way they cover the +10...

if theres something better, i would pass here...

Watch MoMo get 16 carries for 41 yards and 4 catches for 15 yards. Then Leonard Weaver comes in at the goal line. I think the big play on MNF will be Darryl Hacket. Plan on seeing his overworked point at the sky around a dozen times as the kid puts on a show. Him and HASS will be dialed...

ummm dont forget they play on MNF so unless you have SA plugged in and can change a MNF game prob not worth playing him

If you're depending on MoMo to win this week, just give up and take the loss.

He's not going to do any better than gap tooth unless you're in a PPR league, and that won't even be good enough to start him. I'd take my chances with the holy father or the rookie named Kolby over him, I might even start Weaver. IMO he shouldn't be starting over the worst RB2's of the league.

And to the guy who is thinking about starting him over SJax or Chatman - buy a gun with one bullet and kill yourself.

Chatman isn't anything special you'll see, If a back like Thomas jones can't run on the bills (two try's this year) what makes you think chatman can

Not true.

YPC: 4.6 in 07.

The past two games he has rushed for 10/42 and 9/55 for a YPC of 5.1. The guy has improved from last year to this year if you watch him run live.

I guess I'm not the only one that needs to buy a gun huh?

In defense of my crappy RBs, I'm still 7-2. I guess I will play Chatman then over Morris then and shoot myself after Monday night.

I really like Priest vs. Denver D. I think Priest is in great shape and this is his "Super Bowl" or sorts....he is gonna be hyped.

Sure hope Mo Mo is a diff RB from last year...not sure if he can do the same that S.A cant...sure didnt last year.

Good pick i guess...but dont think he will produce...but then again, its a wierd year, anything can happen.
