Gore has sucked lately but so has smith. I'm at .500 and 4th right now in points. Should I make trade for welker and get rid of the enigma that is Steve Smith or take my chances with him? Point system in league favors big plays, i.e. 1 td catch for 80 yards could be worth twice as much as 8 catches for 80 yards and a td. Thanks and will answer yours.

Oooh, tough! I say at least do the 2nd one as AJ might replace Smith's big play ability, if he even has any (cross your fingers Vinny's Achilles holds up). Gore isn't much of a loss right now. If you got Welker and AJ, you'd have a formidable WR starting duo, plus you already have Housh! Only probably would be maybe who to start if you only start 2.

It looks like #2 is your better option. Losing Gore isn't anything to worry about. And the possibilities with TJ, Welker and AJ are good. It will give you more options week to week.
