jne812 0 Posted November 9, 2007 I'm in a 12 PPR league with the deadline approaching. Standard 2rb, 2wr, te qb roster. I've been offered Bolden, JP Loseman, and Chatman for Haselback and S Holmes. The rest of my roster looks like Rothlesburger M Jones Drew E Graham Rudi Johnson L White Witten Roy Williams David Patten Chad Johnson In making this move I'll be over the roster limit on RB so I'll have to either try and trade or drop someone before Sunday. Any opinions on the secondary move to make if I execute the trade? Lave me a link and I'll check yours out.
Dascoopman 0 Posted November 9, 2007 To me it looks like it ends up being Boldin 4 Holmes cause i don't see you starting any of the other players involved. I personally like Holmes more than Boldin right now. Thanks for answering mine and the guy I meant to list instead of LenDale twice was Larry Fitzgerald was the 4th guy I got. dojo_commish 0 Posted November 9, 2007 I would not give up Hasslebeck for Lossman. Holmes is nice too! mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=300981
jne812 0 Posted November 9, 2007 It really is a trade of Holmes for Bolden. I haven't figured out why he put the others in other than he thinks I need another RB. To me the two WR are even, but a starting RB is always nice to have, even it is just locking him up. I'm thinking about pressing him for TO instead to give me more upside. Lumbo 0 Posted November 9, 2007 Don't give up Hassel and I like homes. Also when you answered mine I already have Jennings starting. Please re-read my post.
Patrick977 0 Posted November 9, 2007 Stay with what you've got. The benefit of picking up Boldin is minimal, especially since Fitzgerald is the receiver that has flourished under Warner. Chatman could be an upgrade at RB, but then again might not. I don't know what your opponent's team looks like, but I'm assuming that he's benefiting much more from this. Thanks for mine! I would no make this trade. Seatle going to start opening up there offense and Hasselback should put up some nice stats. Losman might lose his job down the road. Big Ben likes to throw the deep ball and HOlmes looks like his best target. Thanks for answering Mine.
discmonkey 0 Posted November 9, 2007 It seems like there is minimal benefit to your team (if any) and the other team owner wouldn't have offered the trade if it didn't improve their roster. With only one game under his belt, Chatman is a coin flip. Boldin is a slight downgrade from Holmes IMO. Also, like someone else mentioned, Seattle is going to air it out a lot because of their subpar running game, so Hasselbeck is looking to be a pretty hot QB. I guess the question is, where are you in your league? Can you afford to gamble (the upside being Chatman turns into a stud, the downside being Chatman doesn't and you've helped another team and not yours)? I would press for TO and a better RB. Who knows, maybe the other team takes it. In this transaction you have the power because you don't need the trade so put the pressure on the other guy or gal. Thanks for mine! PudgeDawg 0 Posted November 9, 2007 it seems like I am stating the obvious...but just too make you MORE sure... I agree with stick with the as is... Holmes is in a much better situation QB wise than Boldin is and that is basically the deal you are making. And now that Hass is getting all his playmakers back and Alexander is finally admitting he is hurt(giving Morris the rock),the Seahawks should be able to right the ship in a bad division. thanks for mine!
