Keeper leagues...how many do you keep?

So I'm sitting here at my desk at work and have been thinking about fantasy football. I'm only in 1 keeper league and in that leage we can only keep 1 player from the previous year. This is an auction league so whatever price the player was bought for is the price that is deducted from your team's salary for the year you keep him. I was just thinking that it might be a little more entertaining to keep 2 players in stead of 1. Any big difference or problem with that? How do you do it?
