bwillingham 0 Posted December 6, 2007 Burress on a bum ankle and and a bum knee versus Philadelphia. Evans with a bum QB and a bum season versus Miami. Holmes on a bum ankle versus New England (Does he even play?). Any thoughts on who to start this week? Thanks.
Belushi 9 Posted December 6, 2007 Tough call. I'd say Holmes, since I see Pitt being down early in this game and playing catch up. I'd avoid Evans since the Bills don't have much of a passing game. That game could end 9-6. I own Burress and will probably start him this week, but I have a tough time recommending him. He's been useless for a long time now, and his only decent game recently was when they were down to Minny and had to throw allot. I don't see that happening against the Eagles. bwillingham 0 Posted December 6, 2007 Thanks Belushi, I tend to agree with your analysis. I think it comes down to Burress vs. Holmes and Holmes will see a lot more throws assuming he actually plays. I've got to set my lineup before tonights game, so hopefully some news about Holmes will come out before then. Thanks.
m4rk0 0 Posted December 6, 2007 Per rotoworld Evans missed practice. No reason given.
bwillingham 0 Posted December 6, 2007 Thanks for the info on Evans. I hadn't heard anything about him being injured. He's been the healthiest and his team has by far the best matchup, but I just can't convince myself to pull the trigger on Evans, so this news only puts him further behind Burress and Holmes... bimmer 7 Posted December 6, 2007 Holmes has missed 2 weeks of play... i dont know how effective he is... Burress on the other hand is playing w/ injuries.. but he always put up #s playing hurts.. also he's the #1 WR ... so I'd stick with Burress... GL !! thanks for helping me! jwhatti 1 Posted December 6, 2007 Thanks for the help. I would love Burress to play good since I am starting him too but I would go with Holmes if he is healthy. Pitts will have to air it out to keep up with NE and Burress really has not done much in the last 6 games. I think he only has 1 touchdown in those 6 games. northendninja 0 Posted December 6, 2007 Burress would be my pick.. Holmes is a good choice if healthy as you would except pitts to be throwing once they fall behind on NE
