Bench Gore(Vs. Min) for Dane(vs. TB)....No brainer?

Playoff game and opponent has Romo and T.O.! Need as many pts. as possible to offset Cowboys vs. Lions Romo/TO pointfest.

Depends if it is a ppr league. SF may be throwing a bunch as they may be behind early. Gore catches too many balls to hold out for Dayne. The running may be slow for Dayne against a good Bucs defense and Rosenfels at QB. Could see 8 in the box.

Normally I would sit Gore for Dane, but Dane has a tough matchup this week. SF will have to throw the ball and they do get Gore involved in the passing game. Tough call.

Reason I say gore is not for all the very valid reasons listed above, but because your opponent having TO and Romo. Fact is, Dayne isnt nearly as likely to "explode" as Gore is. Just doesnt have that kind of dynamite play making ability. Dayne is in a nice offense, he is a solid straight ahead guy, and he can produce no doubt, however its more in the 15-20 point game.

 

Gore "could" get you 30 (in standard ppr scoring), and it sounds like thats what you need.
