CheeseCake 0 Posted July 1, 2008 I like your team except your wide-receivers. The wide-receiver situation in Detroit is troubling, and Steve Smith doesn't seem to be the most consistent player either. Not to mention that Aaron Rodgers is a new quarterback, he'll have to adjust to system. On the other hand, Tom Brady will obviously put up good numbers if he's healthy of course. I'm surprised you ended up with Clinton Portis too, that was solid. Mostly a good team. You'll win some and you'll lose some. Good luck!

Steve Smith is a great WR that didn't have a QB last year. He will rebound huge. I like this team a lot.
brooksville 0 Posted July 2, 2008 If this were a PPR league you would be in great shape!Your receivers are boom or bust, but Cotchery has been great the last 2 years...looks like a playoff team to me!
kmbryant09 1 Posted July 3, 2008 Definitely a solid team - Brady will carry you most weeks, and assuming Portis and Jacobs stay healthy...they are very consistent backs. With Delhomme back in Carolina, Steve Smith could be ready for a 100/1300/12 season, which could push you over the top. In PPR leagues, I think Driver will have a surprising value - with Rodgers new at QB, Driver acts as a safety outlet whereas Jennings simply stretches the defense. Look for Driver to put up 80+ catches in Green Bay. The major concern is depth on your team. Especially with a few injury prone players (Steve Smith and Jacobs), it would be nice to have a little extra depth on the bench, but that seems to be lacking. Overall though, for a 12 team league with a difficult drafting position, great job.
