chuckiep 0 Posted July 7, 2008 Not sure if this is going to get a long winded answer, but in rough terms, how does the Cheatsheet Compiler come up with the Auction Values for players? What is the methodology for these values? Thank you. Chuckie P
Mike MacGregor 20 Posted July 7, 2008 Sorry, I usually can't help myself throwing out the long winded answers as you may have noticed from other posts. I'll try to be brief. 1. Compiler calculates player values similar to a non-auction draft. 2. Compiler calculates available dollar values for all teams to spend on the draftable player pool. 3. Compiler allocates the available dollars to the draftable player pool based on each player's relative value, keeping in mind one team cannot spend over a max amount for one player and still be able to afford the rest of their team, and no team can spend under the min bid amount for a player. That's it in a nutshell.
