Hey all-

 

Been talking a bit with Mike and reading the boards, and it seems like there are alot of return owners buying his product. It got me thinking, and I thought it would be cool to see how many people come back each year. Please take a moment, fill out the poll, and maybe leave a note about your success (or complete failures if they are funny...lol).

Seriously though, thanks Guru420. At some point I should put together a formal questionnaire to send to customers to get a better idea people's thoughts on our little program. It would be nice to know how many people are on Windows vs. Macs, what version of Excel, draft vs. auction leagues, IDP yay or nay, features that are most important to least important, etc. One of these days...

This is my 4th season using this and I've won the whole thing once, had the best record twice, and the year I had a poor record was my first year and I wasn't sure exactly how to use the tiers vs. the overall list and just bungled my draft.

 

This makes the draft a breeze for me as you can just see the value picks as they reveal themselves.

Rookie owner here....and I've had one of those Viagra four hour boners ever since I downloaded it! (But I'm not calling my doctor)!

 

Besides all the technical greatness of the program....one of my favorite little features was the sound effect button.

 

Our league is a bunch of old smart asses. We trash talk with the best of them. Most of us would give up sex with sexy triplets to attend the draft! Therefore, once I found those funny sound effects...I went on a search for more. I know have my playlist set up with about 100 funny movie drops to play whenever somebody drafts someone. I'm sure I won't take the time to play most of them...but when the time is right, I'll drop a "Pardon my french, but you're an a$$hole" (Ferris Bueller) or Jeff Spikoli blurting out "You d!ck!"

 

Now..if only I can apply this wonderful tool and actually draft a winner this year. I always tend to spend too much money (auction) on my bench....too conservative. Not this year, MoFos!

Got hosed last year! I know it was not the compilers fault. I spent many long hours preparing for our draft. Got to the draft...blasted a few obnoxious trash talk audio clips...made my first round pick and then the phone rang!............My mother in law called.......my wife's in the hospital! Crap! I handed my cheat sheets to my best friend and gave him a 30 second training on the Draft Buddy. Needless to say, just like the beer commercial "You get who we pick". It was the first time I ever lost money in FF in seven years.

 

Well the wife's ok, and barring further emergencies I will be drafting my own players this year. Looking forward to really putting the compiler to the test.

Wow. I'm glad you wife is okay. That's some horrible luck/timing. LOL at 30 second training on Draft Buddy. Maybe there should be an auto-pilot feature for these circumstances!
