ssharpe12 0 Posted August 22, 2008 This is pure speculation, but based on my pre-draft rankings, this is who i figure wouild fall to me. keeper league, each player keeps 4 players. PPR where we start 2 QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, 1W/R, 1 W/T, 1 TE mine are Westy, T.O., Wayne, and Marshall the 4 best options that should fall to me Bush, Thomas Jones, Rothlisberger, and Maroney. Personally, i've pushed maroney down my list (last year plus Jordan signing). I've pushed up Jones with the Favre signing. Using teired rankings, Roth would be the higher tier at his position when compared to the others, plus we need 2 QB. I'm leaning toward Bush and Roth as I should get 2 of them picking at the end of the round.. any other suggestions? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

2GQ 0 Posted August 24, 2008 With the ability to keep 4 players, I can just imagine the slim pickings when it actually comes to the draft. I agree that TJ would be a great pick here. Since you have to start 2 RB, TJ is a very serviceable #2 RB. However, I believe that Roth starts the third tier of QB and I would look for value at other positions when you first pick since you pick at the end of the round. You could use RB and WR (since Marshall will be suspended) depth and I would covet one of these positions with the pick after TJ. When your pick next comes around, you can grab a 3rd tier QB. Since you have to start 2 QB, definitely look at the matchups and pair 2 QBs together that can produce. QBs like Delhomme and Cutler may be a good pairing? rjconley48105 0 Posted August 24, 2008 I love TJones this year with the upgrade at O-Line and Favre. But with PPR I might say you might want to take Bush. If they both fall to you maybe take them both. It would give you great depth and trade bait. I like Cutler this year. I think he could get you 25 tds and it would be a good hook up with Marshall. I think Big Ben might struggle this year. His O-line is getting old and last night against Minny he never had time. I know it is preseason but the first quarter is the starters and if that is any indication he might look more like the 06 version.
