1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1FLEX(WR/RB), 1TE, 1K and 1DST

Dwayne Bowe

Jerricho Cotchery

Bernard Berrian

Heath Miller

Robbie Gould

Eagles

 

I won the league last year (basically by working the waiver wire on a weekly basis). I feel pretty confident with this team (except my QBs) but we'll see. I stacked my RB/WRs to use them as trade bait later in the season. Other teams are always looking for WRs and RBs during the year.

 

What do you guys think? How'd I do? Post a link of yours.

I like your team quite a bit. Looks like you're high on some of the same guys as I am. Alot of people are down on Parker, but as a RB3 that's as solid as you can get. I think Cotch will end up having a better year than Bowe too. I'm a little hesitant on Wayne with all the questions surrounding Manning at this point. I've been leaning towards Edwards and Fitz, but Wayne will be a beast if Manning is 100%.

 

My only criticism would be the QB's. I'm not a fan of Anderson at all. He really backpedaled the end of last year. He hasn't looked very good in the pre-season either. Schaub is a solid back-up, but he can't seem to stay healthy.

I feel the same way about my QBs. I had some concerns with Anderson but he was the best available at that time. Someone took Roethlisberger right before my pick (I was planning on him). I think Manning will be fine by the time the season starts and I think Wayne will be solid. I will most likely package two WRs and/or a RB for a solid starter. Willie Parker gets the yardage and I think he'll have a good year this year.

Well I hope I get some bad picks in my league as well. Thats great to have Portis Jackson and Wayne. You will be fine with Anderson. Everyone felt the same way with Romo. Anderson has a stud reciever and a great tight end. Romo went into the 4th round last year because they wanted to see if he could do it again. I wouldnt change a thing

I feel like I had a good draft. Remember, it's only 10 teams but some drafting (first year) were picking some very odd picks. Like I said, I won this league last year and think I'm set to win another one. We shall see.

If you dont have any injuries I think you will be fine. I just had a change in my league and moved up to the 6 spot in the draft and only have 10 drafting. The one thing is we will play 2 qbs now. I have always waited to get a qb but if Brady is there at 6 do I take him?

I like your team a lot.

 

WR - not a big fan of Berrian nor Walker ( thinking he is hurting and may not show much) If there is better quality on the wire I would start by replacing Walker first and keep an eye to replace Berrian.

 

TE- Thinking Miller will give you less than he did last year

 

I do like Cotcher and it seems Favre is finding him quite easlily in pre-season.

 

Looks like a great team.

Like others have already said QB seems to be the only question. IMO you'll be starting Schaub soon than expected.

Very solid. I expect you'll do well. I always see these posts and somehow you have 2 first round (at least they should be first round) pick running backs (steven jackson and clinton portis). Congrats to you! Enjoy your season.
