Fearsome 22 Posted September 15, 2008 Looking at making a trade or two and wanting to know who you would rather have on your team. No PPR. I am a Grant owner now and likely will aquire Bush today. May shop Grant for a stud WR. I also have S Jax and Jacobs. Thoughts?
broncosfan24 0 Posted September 15, 2008 I say go with Bush. He is a great back, he can run and catch. If its a PPR league, Bush is your man. I expect many points from him this year. Grant is doing alright, but that is a passing team. They got WR's, I think Bush will be better Answer mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=324049

mj2008 0 Posted September 16, 2008 bump...I would really appreciate some input! I will help everyone who replies... My feeling is to hang on to Bush based on the fact that both are on hot offenses, but Grant is already banged up a bit and may (though probably not) lose the top spot to Jackson or Lumpkin. The downside to Bush is that the gal line carries seem to be going to Thomas, but I'd take that risk. Any thoughts on mine would be appreciated: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=324204
chad72 0 Posted September 16, 2008 bump...I would really appreciate some input! I will help everyone who replies... Reggie Bush's trade value is higher now than Ryan Grant, IMO. So, if you are looking for a stud receiver and already have Steven Jackson and Brandon Jacobs, it would depend on who you are trading with. Chances are when Colston comes back, Brees will have a bigger target in traffic. In the long term, I still think Ryan Grant will do better than Bush when they play good defenses and have to run more. Reggie Bush is not a punch-it-in kind of back, Ryan Grant can get you more TDs that way. Reggie Bush's points will mostly come in yards, not TD points and if points are awarded to TDs, trade Reggie Bush right now and get that stud WR whoever he is now. Boulder Buds 0 Posted September 16, 2008 Personally, I would prefer a healthy Grant over Bush. However, Hamstring injuries can nag, and it seems like Rodgers is really slinging it in Green Bay right now. That's not to say that later in the season, when throwing becomes slightly more difficult (and perhaps some of Rodgers' luster wears off) that Grant won't be a great option, but based on the situation right now, I like Bush having the upper hand... Rochester Blizzard 0 Posted September 16, 2008 I luv M. Bush and think he will be a great back in the league. But not right now..... he is stuck behind DMac. Therefore, I'd stay with Grant. He should be completely healthy soon. Plus, he is the starter in GB.
