Belushi 9 Posted September 19, 2008 I was hoping McGahee would be healthy enough for a full workload in a good matchup this week, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Who knows how many touches Rice will get. And while I like Stewart, he faces the Vikings D this week in Minny. Right now I've got Stewart in there based on last week's performance, but I'm not too comfortable with it.

I really think that if a Car RB scores this week, it's goal line or through the air. The vikes are gonna come out hard. They're 0-2 and cannot lose this game. Mcgahee has CLE. They're giving up 142 yards a game.

He's had a week to get healthy, with the bye last week and remember the last two times he played them last year he was around 100 yards, and the defense has gone the other way from better. I'm buyin' McGahee this week. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=324814
We Tigers 71 Posted September 19, 2008 Watch the injury reports up till Sunday and see what you see. If McGahee's questionable or better, I think you chance it on him for the reasons Gundy stated--Stewart and Williams will be up against a tough D and the returning Steve Smith will likely dominate the gameplan and take over some red zone chances. If McGahee looks grim, go with Stewart since the plan in Baltimore week 1 during his absence was to split carries between Rice and McClain. If someone gets goal line carries in Minnesota, it'll probably be Stewart. Much obliged for the comment on mine.
froggsnflfan53 0 Posted September 19, 2008 McGahee all the way. ESPN is reporting that he will get the majority of the load this week and is healthy after the weeks rest. and like gundy said, 142 aloowed by cleveland average is tempting
DanXIII 8 Posted September 19, 2008 I wouldn't start McGahee: Sep 18 Jamison Hensley, of The Baltimore Sun, reports Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron talked as if RB Willis McGahee would have a limited role Week 3. McGahee may not start or get most of the carries. Cameron said of RB Ray Rice and FB Le'Ron McClain, "Those are the two backs that we're going with, and Willis' role will increase." http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6359/n...iJXJy4sE1P.uLYF Go with Stewart. There's no telling who will get the carries in Baltimore this week. Mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=324876
