Trade - What To Trade To Get Witten?

Recommended Posts

OK, I won't trade J.Lewis (RB) for L.Coles trash. He has only 1 or 2 RBs. He has Witten (and Harrison and Coles)

My players:

- RB: L.T., Larry Johnson, J.Lewis, Thomas Jones, Kevin Smith, Slaton, Mendenhall, Buckwalter

- WR: B.Marshall, D.Bowe, D.Driver, Roy Williams

- TE: none, need to pick one up

Which ones of these should I offer for Witten to be fair to both [i was going to offer any of the following] ...

- Kevin Smith (bye) + Buckwalter (1 or 2 week option with Westbrook injured) AND/OR

- Kevin Smith (bye) + Slaton

- Slaton + Buckwalter

- Thomas Jones

- Larry Johnson

- J.Lewis (is J.Lewis too much for a TE?)

You're right that you don't need Coles. If he's very light on RB, try to pull off a steal and pitch him LJ for Witten. Johnson's monster stats last week cover up the fact that he's really not playing that well this year, and to rob him that way would be great. Otherwise, with LT leading the way for your RBs, I would gladly sacrifice Thomas Jones, Jamal Lewis, or Steve Slaton for Jason Witten if you could get it done (unless there's a sure-thing guy like Clark, Gonzalez, or Gates somehow on the waiver wire). It depends on how much he values TEs, if he has a backup for Witten, and how thin he really is at RB. Witten is averaging a beastly 7 catches and 90 yards a game, and he's going to find the endzone sooner or later. He's worth your third- or fourth-best RB given the depth you have.

Check mine? Updated at the bottom...

LJ for witten seems like to much but i dont think so...

Witten is an elite and is scoring in top tier while LJ cant reasonably be called elite anymore and it aint going to get better as season progresses.

ANy you are well covered at RB as it is.

thakns for ine
