whahaa 0 Posted September 27, 2008 simple question this week: Larry Johnson (vs Denver) or Thomas Jones (vs Arizona)? Â leave a link for your own question and i'll get back to you. Â thanks!
We Tigers 71 Posted September 27, 2008 Well, nobody's had problems running on Denver so far this year, so LJ seems like a pretty good pick. It might be one of the few games this year in which you can actually expect big numbers from him. However, with Denver's explosive offense, there's also a good chance they get up early and have to resort to constant passing. Jets/Arizona has that threat, but on a slightly smaller scale. Overall, I think Jones is the safer pick while Johnson has a higher ceiling because Denver's poor run defense. I'd say it depends on how risky your other RB starts are. We Tigers 71 Posted September 27, 2008 With those two up top, I'd say take the risk on LJ. You have a pair of top-8 backs there and can afford it. I missed Lynch by 2 picks in my draft (took LT at #1) and I'd be happy rolling out the corpse of Ron Dayne for my flex with those two in the hole.
Highland Chargers 0 Posted September 28, 2008 I would suspect that KC will be down by quite a bit early and have to pass their way back into it...so Brett Favre's RB gets the nod. Â Thanks for your insight
Nanda 0 Posted September 28, 2008 Since it's your flex, I think it just comes down to you risk/reward tolerance. LJ could blow up, or get 12 carries. I'd roll the dice on him, personally. Â Help back would be sweet. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=326285
Fantana 0 Posted September 28, 2008 I'd go for LJ here. Huard at least give KC the threat of a downfield pass.
Belushi 9 Posted September 28, 2008 Jones. KC will be behind by 50pts at half time, and they don't use LJ in the passing game anymore. He could be sitting for a good portion of the game.
only a guess 0 Posted September 28, 2008 LJ - higher opportunity (more of a focus than T.Jones is since Washington is a better catching back than TJ), but also higher risk (little possessions in 2nd half) Â mine - http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=326406

jdibella 0 Posted September 28, 2008 I took a huge chance in going with Felix Jones over Thomas Jones/LJ (due to a report that he'd be heavily involved in the offense). He hasn't ###### touched the ball. ###### you Cowboys.
