ping 0 Posted November 16, 2008 Witten is still dinged. Keller is nice, but Gates is coming on again after early injury issues. It all depends on where your team is now and if you think this year's playoff chances are enhanced more than next year's chances after the trade. I'd be tempted to hold onto Gates... Thanks for mine! boilerddd 62 Posted November 16, 2008 Wow that is a pretty brutal set of running backs. I think you have to deal either Gates or Witten for some help. Smith has put up pretty decent numbers the last few weeks, and would be your best back if you had him. I don't know your league as far as roster size, # of teams etc. Any chance you can land a slightly higher caliber RB from another team? With all that being said, I would make the deal, and just pray Witten returns to his earlier studliness. In which case Gates would be on your bench anyway. Good luck.
