owls 0 Posted November 16, 2008 Tough matchups for LT2 and MJD. Slaton should rebound against the Colts and Deuce has a nice matchup. My gut tells me to go with LT2 and Deuce. Your thoughts?
el_duderino 0 Posted November 16, 2008 I think MJD does fine today. Tennessee has had some brutal games over the last 4 weeks. I expect them to slow down some.... Start LT2 and MJD. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=333394
Curt Sminkey 0 Posted November 16, 2008 Obviously, you gotta go with LT2. Even though he's had a not-so-good year, you still gotta start him regardless of the matchup. As for the other position, personally, i'd go with Slaton because he's been more consistant that MJD in fantasy points this year. MJD has had some huge days, but he's also had some days where he didn't produce a whole lot. Thanks for mine.
The OPH 0 Posted November 16, 2008 thanks for mine...i think duece wont do much today and if ur in a PPR league feel confident with MJD and LT2
CajunBadger 9 Posted November 16, 2008 You and I are in similar situations, except I also have Addai and Hightower...you may want to check out mine to see the responses: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=333041 My feeling is that Deuce will get a reasonable amount of looks, but for whatever reason he's been underutilized even when healthy. He doesn't have Bush to worry about, but still does lose some carries to Stecker. I'd look for him to get reasonable yards (50-70 total yds) with the potential of one touchdown, but given the Saints passing game he hasn't been used much more than keeping defenses honest plus a little more. Not sure anything has changed this week. MJD could have a day like Forte if they get him more involved in the passing game, but as said Tennessee is tough. He is getting more touches but way too streaky for my liking this week. LT certainly didn't inspire much confidence with his earlier performances, and especially when supposedly healthy against KC. I know the talk is he'll be more involved in the passing game, but Pittsburgh sure seems to shut down both aspects of an offense. Slaton has all the talk about hitting the wall. Kubiak essentially rested him against Baltimore and at least outwardly has only been positive about his chances this week. With all that said, I'd say Slaton and LT (yes, Deuce might be the safer pick for some points but LT could very well surprise - and have me irritated that I sat him!) Good luck! owls 0 Posted November 16, 2008 Just saw on ESPN that Sanders is out for the Colts, making Slaton more appealing. I'm leaning LT2 and Slaton right now.
